The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission, at its meeting on December 11, 2025, voted to award four dispensary licenses. Three of those four licenses issued on January 8, 2026, which authorizes those licensees to open their dispensing sites. The fourth dispensary license was temporarily stayed by the Commission and the Commission will meet on January 26, 2026, to consider the status of the stay.
